The timing is reasonable – December – the month of the birth of Christ, savior of mankind. And the big news about December 2013 is the coming of Suzie Ukum’s audio version of her first ever album. There is growing anxiety as the singer’s fans, most of whom she fetched when she hit the road some time ago.
With the technical and managerial support of director/producer Takong Delvis aka Del Mezzo, the new generation gospel music artist has been working tirelessly to present what has been described as good quality sound/songs to the public come December. The track, Yes, He will obviously confirms God’s unquestionable ability to provide His children with whatever they faithfully seek from Him. Perhaps, the melodiousness of the tracks, spiced by Ukum’s soul-searching voice will be an added impetus.
Only last year, the 28-year-old singer who hails from the North West region of Cameroon released Hosanna, a track that propelled her to fame. Her ambitions of making it big, by God’s grace remain intact. And, the Bamenda-based musician hopes to bring many, especially young people on board gospel music. “This, in a bid to create the feeling of belonging,” she said.
