Neba Lawrence directs Jim Iyke movie starring Uche Jombo

 When TIPTOPSTARS got Neba Lawrence on the line to Yaounde early Monday, the now celebrated Cameroonian film director was on his way to Asaba, Nigeria where editing of Blood or Wine, a Jim Iyke produced movie will kick off in the coming days. “I’ll be part of the editing crew of the film and will be in Nigeria for about a month, which the time is set aside for the entire exercise,” Neba told us, as he got ready to check out of Cameroon’s capital Yaounde.

Cameroonian movie: Incubus out of incubator soon
|
 Cameroon is bracing up to give a hilarious welcome to yet another movie. Incubus, emerging from the incubator on May 1 will join the cue of Cameroonian movies lined up since January, making 2012 one of the most spectacularly quantity-rich years in the country’s film production history.
Shot in Limbe just a couple of weeks ago, Incubus is a Roughbase Pictures production coming at the time the film company is set to serve Cameroon, Africa and the world with the best images one can imagine.

Short film: Penjo’s Stick On It in gestation
|
 Another Cameroonian short film in gestation! Stick On It sees the light of day in May 2012. It’s going to be an Elvis Tanwie (De Daddies) film, produced by Peter Ndjozeka and Penjo Entertainment Productions. According to Penjo, as Stick On It’s producer is fondly called, the shooting of the short film will take place on Yaounde locations this month. The crew comprising Delvis Takong (as first assistant director), Achille Brice (as second assistant director), Samson Tarh (as sound/lighting technician) and Adeline Mafo Agnes (as continuity artist) gets to work soon.

Cameroonian movies: The Decision decides to make hilarious entry

 Cameroon’s seasoned actor Chiatoh Collins has never been as excited as he was when he announced The Decision, a new home-made movie which is at the verge of release. “This is one of the best things I ever did in my acting life. I’m proud of this production and must say emphatically that it meets the agreed standards,” he told TIPTOPSTARS Editor on the line to Yaounde. “We’ll make sure Cameroonians watch this movie to see how far we’ve gone in this business,” Chiatoh added.
