“Ladies and gentle, the Cameroon Entertainment Awards 2012 all the way…Samuel Eto’o Fils, welcoming Paience Debany as mother of the awards…….” These and more are the words that check in from the soft spoken voice announcing the much-awaited coming of the Cameroon Entertainment Awards, CEA. In the official trailer of the event, the announcer further highlights the presence of some thrilling music stars who double as nominees in the CEA including Sine, X-Maleya, Luxland, Lady Ponce, Wax Dey, Irma, Andy Allo, ect and invites potential guests to get their tickets ‘NOW”. Perhaps what makes the CEA trailer thrilling is the sound tract, tapped from Shakira’s famous version of “Zangalewa” originally sung in 1986 by the Golden Sounds. The track, observers say is undoubted what gave the 2010 Soccer World Cup in South Africa one of the most popular since the inception of the competition in more than eight decades ago. The video has been made public on social network forums and is being appreciated by users.

1st I think you are one of those Cameroon filmmakers who will take the invitation and run abroad and never come back home... 2nd, where in the world of entertainment for an "AWARD" do you see people going in with a group invitation letter? group invitation letter backed by WHO? for your information i have been out of the country countless times and all i wish to good for my country and not for fellow country men making use of others to get money into their pockets... I see that coming with the CEA awards. At the embassy, and not to talk of the American embassy, trust me if there are 20 nominees listed on that letter, only 5 will go and those 5 will be people with godfathers. trust me. so next time don't say rubbish like going out and not coming back.
You people should note that this is the first of its kind orhganised by a few heads. I know you guys are expecting individual letters so as to go to the US and never come back. Well if you think you are better at organising awards in cameroon then you not have to wait until it is done from the US.
