Movies: Bright future foreseen for The Unforeseen

Anxiety has grown in among film lovers in particular and Cameroonians in general ahead of the putting into circulation of The Unforeseen, an up-coming movie, shot in Yaounde in 2012. The movie will officially be released today at an event billed for the Obili Christ Embassy Mission Church in Yaounde. “Guests to the movie’s premiere should expect to witness something quite different from what is common with many film launches, let me say something out of the ordinary,” Don Frank, one of the movie’s producer told TIPTunforseenOPSTARS.

According to Don, it took a lot of patience, hard work, determination to package the 71-minutes-long movie. “However, we had considerable support from families, friends, religious bodies and other well wishers,” he said.

The Unforeseen narrates the story of a young man, Anthony(Nteff Humphrey)who had a difficult childhood due to the ill treatment inflicted on him and his sister, Nicole (Acha Gracious)by their father, Donatus (Mohsesop Zachari)leading to the death of his sister. Donatus grows up to be an arrogant and stone-hearted boy and could only be arrested by the grace of God to bring out the good side of him. The rest of the story can be savoured in the religious undertone movie directed by Penn Lades.

The movie which will circulate in the Centre, North West, South West regions of Cameroon and Nigeria is expected to create awareness of some of the salient values in life people most often than not neglect.
