“There have been several movies done by Africans to pain the picture of what immigrants go through in the diaspora, but Illegal Immigrants will certainly be different,” Agbor Jenet Manyi told TIPTOPSTARS editor. When we got to the Sweden-based Cameroonian filmmaker to tell us more about this up-coming movie, Agbor was clear on the fact that the story of the ups and downs of Africans in the diaspora could only be best told in a cinematographically well crafted piece. “We have even gone beyond to trace the reasons why scores of young Africans are pushed out of their countries in the first place, why they stay with the illegal status and what they risk facing,” Agbor told us further. |
