Yet another Zigoto Tchaya Tchameni film! After Extension 4, Zigoto Tchaya Tchameni has done Gymnastics, another block buster. The film will be launched on Sunday 21 March 2010 at the Yaounde Hilton Hotel, amidst euphoria. No sooner had publicity for the premiere started than may film lovers became itchy to watch the film. "I can bet you Gymnastics will bee another attractive piece of work," said a Yaounde film lover. He went on, "I have watched with keen interest film done by Zigoto. They have always marked me positively." This is a similar impression journalists went away with after a press projection and conference on Monday 15 March 2010, organized by Zoomers Pictures. After a thorough cinematographic critic of Gymnastics, they agreed the filmmaker had made a point and the film was a master piece. Gymnastics condemns some aspects of the tradition that are not neither soothing to society, nor to the challenges of globalization. Watch the story keenly and see how cinematographically effective the theme is exploited. Shot in Yaounde, Gymnastics features Gham Betty, Rima Ndifor, Dominick Fobi and Otia Vitalis. It is edited by Nancy Kienyo, one of the Cameroon's best female film editors currently. It is artistically directed by Alasabom Nyingchuo and directed by Zigoto Tchaya Tchameni. Gymnastics comes a couple of months after Extension 4, another Zigoto Tchaya Tchameni film. The producer of Gymnastics who is a PhD student in Filmmaking by Practice at the Kingston University in London has done several other films including Traffic d'Enfants, Public Order, The Match, We Are One, etc. He told TIPTOPSTARS he will be produce and launch over a dozen more films before 2010 runs out. |
