NEXUS_shootWho could believe that someday in Cameroon, movies would be shot on a regular basis? As we write, actors are on set virtually every where in country. Reaching actors or directors these days is difficult. They are all on movie locations for this or that project. The meaning of this is that in the coming months, our movie market will be flooded with films. Weare also told that TV channels in and out of country have been eyeing Cameroonian productions.

Reports fromBamenda say they are several movie projects going on there. Rising actors are either on set, shooting or at someplace auditioning forroles. Among the movie projects in Bamenda is NEXUS, a Musing Dereck film. From all indications, NEXUS is going to be the biggest production ever in Bamenda. The 52-episode serial features a cream of English-speaking Cameroonian actors including Yimbu Emmanuel, Solange Yijika, Libota McDonald, Chiatoh Collins, Quinta Eyong, Muma Pascal (Bob), Claude Ndengue, Fon Glory, Akuro Raphael, etc.

In Yaounde comes The Crazy Enterprise, a 52-episode serial being shot on locations in the city. Shooting sessions have been scheduled this week and according to producer Chi Anthony, the product will be ready for consumption in the coming weeks. TNexus_shootinghe Crazy Enterprise features a cream of Englih-speaking Cameroonian actors including Yimbu Emmanuel, Solange Yijika, Muma Pascal, Quinta Eyong, Njoya Grace, Tunyi Florence, Fri Louisa, Ofer Rose, Agwe George Keti sylvanus, Tume Balon and Ebot Vera. Directed by Billy Bob Ndive, it also features Blessing Peace, Ruthy Johnson, Forgwe Jennet, Marc Vaow, Kingsley Fisher and Mbang Milton. Chi Anthony told TIPTOPSTARS a new project begins soon after the shooting of The Crazy Enterprise.

Still in Yaounde, Zigoto Tchaya Tchameni and his team of actors and technicians are on set come 23 March 2010 for a shoot. The title of the film is yet to be disclosed but from all indications, Zoomers are out for another explosion.

Then the winner of the Mis Me Binga Jury's Special Prize, Naah Joyce goes on set in the coming days for another short film shoot. The producer of Rape told us all is set for the next production whose title we would be announcing in subsequent updates.
