AMAA 2012: Cameroon secures a nomination |

Last year, Cameroon grabbed her first ever AMAA prize via Ariana Astrid Atodji’s Kondi Et Le Jeudi Nationale in the best documentary category. The country had had three nominations altogether including Sunjo Petra’a Bongfen (best short film category) and The Rivaling Shadow (best actress in supporting role category). Prior to 2011, Joyce Kuchah’s China Wahala had been nominated in the best African film in the diaspora category.
