The Cameroon Film Industry, CFI and the Ecrans Noirs film festival are fast becoming associates. At this year’s edition, CFI’s board chair, Otia Vitalis was honoured as one of the keynote speakers. CFI members including some of its prominent artists and technicians flooded the event. They could be spotted posing with other visitors to the festivals as well as organizers of Ecrans Noirs. Amongst them were director/producers such as Elvis Tanwies, Judas Case, Neba Lawrence - artists such as Solange Yijika, Ruth Nkwenti, Nkwah Kingsly, etc. It should be noted that Ecrans Noirs’ CEO Bassek Ba Khobio is a regular guest at virtually all CFI meetings.
