CFI/COLLYWOOD in Maroua

collywood.jpgCameroonian film makers are en route to Maroua, for the 2008 National Festival of Arts and Culture, FENAC. A delegation made of producers, actors and technicians left Douala today on board a special flight destined for Maroua. Headed by Waa Musi, national coordinator of the Cameroon Film Industry (CFI) is expected to exhibit Cameroonian movies, hold discussions with stakeholders and make useful contacts in view of creating new openings for the marketing of our movies. Other members of the CFI delegation to Maroua include  CFI Yaounde branch SG.Yimbu Emmanuel. The Cameroonian movie industry it should be recalled, is now proud of a good number of movies, some of which have either been nominated for international awards or won prizes.
