kanjo_laureatFor the third time, Among Youths/Tiptopstars Editor has been awarded. Just a couple of days ago, Ernest Kanjo grabbed the trophy for the best cinema reporting journalist, an honour given him by ACE Productions Inc. and the Cameroonian Ministry of Culture. According to the Yaounde-based production company, the journalist, via Among Youths had distinguished himself in reporting issues relating to the film industry in Cameroon. This was the same impression expressed by the ACE Awards 2008 jury that flipped through the pages of the monthly magazine to be sure the journalist deserved the prize. Receiving his prize at an all star night in Yaounde, Kanjo praised the ACE initiative that ailed at encouraging hard work and rewarding talents. "This prize does not only spur me to work harder, but it is a challenge to the entire Cameroonian media landscape," he said.

It should be noted that the ACE Awards laureate over the years has been running columns that focus solely on film making and makers in Among Youths. Such columns, S-SCOOPS (reporting of news making events in the industry including rehearsals, shooting sessions, post-productions, film launches, festivals, etc) and THE CAST (profiling actors and actress) have attracted particular attention from the magazine's readers. In Standard Tribune (formerly the Quail), Kanjo has marketed the film industry via columns such as THE SET and INSIDE COLLYWOOD. Only two weeks earlier, Kanjo received an excellence award from Our Home Productionss Inc. for his role in the promotion of the Cameroonian culture. In November 2008, delegates to the Cameroon Film Industry (CFI) 4th national convention conferred an honorary award to the culture reporter for his enormous contribution to the growth of the industry.

A fat man and a skinny man were arguing about who was the more polite. The skinny man said he was more polite because he always tipped his hat to ladies. But the fat man knew he was more courteous because, whenever he got up air max for sale (www.airmaxforsale.com) and offered his seat, two ladies could sit down.

Personally, i think that Ernest Kanjo deserves more than just that. He's great and I wish to plead with the entire film industry that while he is ready to work, let us also keep him busy.
Cheers bro. Keep the flames burning bro.
