Nothing can be so exciting and inspiring like receiving blessings from a senior colleague. Rising Hip-Hop star King Aluan is definitely swimming in a pool of excitement and inspiration after receiving the blessings of Cameroon's most popular and leading group X-Maleya at the close of last week. At a King Aluan's concert in Yaoundé, X-Maleya flanged the young singer on stage in confirmation that he was ripe for the art. The X-Maleya Trio danced to the beautiful tunes of the up-and coming Hip-Hop star. Even when they sat, Roger and co will not help shaking their bodies on their seats. Then regularly, they would show their thumbs up, nod their heads clap their hands and join in the popular chorus. O n his part, the host singer did not hesitate to show appreciation for the presence of Cameroon's most popular musicians at his concert. "That X-Maleya is here today is a dream come true," Aluan said. He continued: "I told you they were going to come you thought I was joking. Here they are, it's indeed a big honour."
  Also present at the King Aluan concert was the young singer's mother whom he affectionately refers to as "Mama G". Other young musicians including General Tse Kingala, Dogstar, Escapee, Vehany, Titi Tolambo, Webstar, Natty Nat, Universal Friendship, etc, graced the event. Also present were film makers including Zigoto Tchaya Tchameni and wife Nancy. The concert came a few weeks after the production of King Aluan's video album to be launched soon. It also marked one year after he launched Salary his maiden album. Aluan is an acclaimed singer among today's generation of Hip-Hop singers. He has had the benediction of Europe-based Cameroonian diva, Ashley Stephanie, Spanish model Tatiana and CRTV's Foly Dirane, just to name a few. Only this year, he was proclaimed as the best Cameroonised Hip-Hop singer by ACE Awards. He has programmed a series of concerts in the coming months.
